These cufflinks are sculpted by artist, Lauren Swingle out of polymer clay.

These QR code cufflinks will be made-to-order with your special message as an easily scannable QR code. Just send me the short message you would like transformed into a QR code and I will create your custom QR code display and make a pair of cufflinks out of it! If you don't specify a message upon checkout I will use the default message, which scans as www.TheClayCollection.com.

Go ahead and scan the code on your screen right now! It will read "CUSTOMIZE with your own message!" - all you need is a free downloadable QR scanner app for your smartphone! :-)

This is a great gift idea - you can customize it with your special message to a friend to commemorate a special occasion. Great for weddings, and wedding party gifts - you can use the bride and groom's name, and wedding date as the special message.

Yoda Cufflinks!

I told my husband that one of his "gifts" for Christmas was that I would make one new item of his choice to add to my store - he picked Yoda Cufflinks (he had been bugging me to make them for a while now) and here they are! You can find them at www.TheClayCollection.com!

Geeky Family Photos

This is me and my brother playing nice and "taking turns*" playing our brand new Nintendo on Christmas morning. Note the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle slippers! Classic all around. As you can see I had naturally good aim.

*Incidentally, this photo captures one of the precious few moments that we were actually sharing nicely. The only real reason that we weren't fighting over the controller is because my brother was currently occupied with some sort of delicious comestible. The other 99% of the time it was a knock-down-drag-out fight over whose turn it was to hold the gun.

Amazing!

This is lucky MST3K fan, Sara, who recently wowed the voices of Crow (Bill Corbett, left) and Tom (Kevin Murphy, right) with her Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot earrings from The Clay Collection!
Thanks, Sara for sharing! And thanks to all the super-cool MST3K folks for celebrating fan art! Check out all of the great things the brilliant minds behind Mystery Science Theater 3000 have going on at RiffTrax.com!

Brains....BRAINS!!! Zombie Brain Cufflinks!

Just added these to www.TheClayCollection.com - they could also be made into earrings, a necklace, or ring! Or you can mix-n-match one normal brain and one zombie brain...sort of like a before/after zombie apocalypse?

New Stuff added to my shop!

Just added several new items to my shop at www.TheClayCollection.com

- Lumas Cufflinks (from Super Mario Galaxy, could also be earrings, necklace, or ring)
- Shy Guy Cufflinks
- Purple Tentacle Cufflinks (from Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle)

Fine Silver Tom Servo MST3K Pendant

This is not polymer clay! This is actual silver metal! It is made out of Precious Metal Clay (which when fired, produces a piece that is 99.9% pure silver).

Fine silver is actually more "pure silver" than Sterling Silver. Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver. This is 99.9% pure silver. Fine Silver shares the same hypoallergenic properties of sterling silver.

Tom is about 1/4 inch wide and 3/4 inch tall.

The charm is strung on an 18" sterling silver chain with sterling silver findings.

You can find it in my shop here.

Color Block Painting

This 3'x4' painting is one I just completed to put in my husband's office. It took forever, and I don't think I'd care to do another! I have decided I just don't have the patience for super-large paintings...just another reason why I am so fond of sculpting in miniature!

Goomba Jack-o-lantern!

Just carved this today -- I had never carved a pumpkin before, and in hindsight, this design might have been somewhat ambitious. I don't think I'll be adding custom carved pumpkins to my shop any time soon! Happy Halloween!

Do it yourself? Polymer Clay Starter Kit!

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at sculpting? Here's your chance. I've just listed a lot of 31 blocks of Sculpey Polymer Clay here. In the starter kit there are 23 different colors that can be mixed and blended to create new colors. Polymer clay stays soft until you bake it in the oven at 275 degrees. I also have great technique book to recommend if you're interested! As always, you can check out the stuff I've made out of polymer clay at my shop on ETSY called The Clay Collection!

Welcome to the jungle

We agreed to pet sit our friend's lab for the night. They played non-stop!
